Meet the Photographer

My name is Jake, and I am a fine art photographer specializing in landscape and wildlife prints, currently based in Laramie, Wyoming. Originally from Kitsap County, Washington, my artistic vision is deeply shaped by the diverse terrains of the American West. Before committing to photography, I spent time working with my hands and solving problems in the real world in the Army, working as an electronics mechanic on a Naval base, a security guard and maintenance man at a hospital, and spending time as a windshield installer. These roles gave me a practical, detail-oriented approach that I carry into my creative work today. As a self-taught photographer with six years of dedicated experimenting and learning, I have developed a unique style of digital precision. My work focuses on capturing authentic encounters with wildlife and the dramatic atmosphere of open landscapes. I offer high-quality professional prints of my photography, designed to bring the raw aesthetic of the outdoors into gallery and living spaces.
